Abstract

Fieldwork Practices are one of the final assignments that Diploma III students must take to obtain a Diploma in accordance with their study program. Based on the background, television which focuses on presenting information and entertainment programs certainly has a structured production management in the process of presenting its programs. In a television program production, the producer must be able to think of a new, fresh, and interesting idea to captivate the audience. Therefore, the authors are interested in conducting research with the title "Producer Work Mechanism in the Sing Apik program on TVRI Central Java". This report uses personal field observation methods, documentation and literature study. The author conducts research analysis using the Paradigm method or descriptive qualitative writing approach. The result of this research is the working mechanism of the producer in Central Java TVRI which includes finding sources, making event rundowns, completing administration, arranging decorations, discussing materials, sources, and production, and observing the course of production. In addition, Producers have carried out their duties based on Standard Operational Procedures (SOP). The deficiencies that occur can still be overcome properly.
